0% intro APR for 6 months on balance transfers applies to new cardholders who request a balance transfer on the available limit of their TCU credit card to pay off an existing credit card balance from another financial institution. After the intro period, a variable APR will apply, see Credit Card Rates for more details. Balance transfer cannot exceed the available limit on your TCU credit card. Certain restrictions apply. Subject to change or cancellation at any time. Member cannot use balance transfer to pay off existing Travis Credit Union loans. A penalty interest rate adjustment will occur if the credit card payment is 60 days or more past due. Balance transfers must be initiated by December 31, 2024 to qualify for the promotion.
Variable Rates: The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) may increase or decrease if the highest rate of interest identified as the Prime Rate increases or decreases. The APR will be equal to the Prime Rate plus a margin and will based on your credit worthiness at the time you open your account. The interest rate can change on the first day of each billing cycle following a change in the Prime Rate. Any increase will lengthen the time it takes to pay off your loan.
Net Qualifying Transactions do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers' checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, racetrack wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind. Bonus Points being rewarded after Net Qualifying Transaction requirements are met within the first 90 days of account opening.
Bonus points are posted within 30 days after the promotional period ends. Member can review their bonus rewards via their rewards points activity online.
