Now retired, Estrella-Henderson’s remarkable 40-plus years of service in youth education was celebrated. This honor not only highlights Lisette’s lasting impact on generations of students and educators but also reinforces TCU’s enduring commitment to lifelong learning and youth development through meaningful partnerships with leaders in education.
In addition to the Len Augustine Award, TCU honored three Community Champion Award recipients whose work exemplifies collaboration and community advancement:
- Richmond Promise – Recognized for empowering students through college readiness and accessibility programs, aligning with TCU’s deep commitment to youth financial education and increasing college access in underserved communities, helping ensure that every student has the tools to achieve their academic goals.
- Military & Family Readiness Center – Honored for its unwavering dedication to supporting military families as they navigate the unique challenges of service life. TCU’s collaboration with the center, including resources and programs, demonstrates its continued commitment to empowering and serving military communities with practical financial education and support.
- Concord Chamber of Commerce and its Committee Negocios Hispanos de Concord – Celebrated for their leadership in empowering small, Hispanic-owned businesses and fostering inclusive economic growth. TCU proudly supports initiatives that strengthen entrepreneurship and inclusion within diverse communities.
As part of the breakfast program, TCU also debuted a new series of short videos highlighting the impactful initiatives of several organizations. Each story underscored the tangible outcomes of shared efforts in advancing financial empowerment, education, and inclusion.
The 2025 Community Impact Breakfast reflected TCU’s ongoing dedication to supporting local organizations that uplift and empower communities.
