“Travis Credit Union is known for its long-term commitment to making sure that we support those who are pursuing their education,” said Kevin Miller, President and CEO of Travis Credit Union. “It’s extremely important to us that we have really vibrant communities full of people contributing in a positive fashion to the world around them. We appreciate our members who support us in giving back to the communities we call home.”
The scholarship program was established in 2004 and was initially named after Mary Keith Duff, the first woman to serve on TCU’s board of directors and who believed in the credit union’s positive influence in the local community.
In the past 20 years, 384 students have been awarded TCU scholarships amounting to a total of $597,000.
