By collaborating with the leading market research company Statista, Forbes conducted in-depth interviews with more than 26,000 U.S. citizens from all 50 states about their banking interactions in order to highlight the top credit unions in each state. Financial institutions were scored on overall member satisfaction and recommendation, as well as trust, financial advice, digital services, branch services, and terms and conditions.
Travis was among 10 California credit unions to earn the honor. Scores ranged from 74.2 to 93.6 on a scale of 100, and just 3.4 percent of credit unions nationwide earned the Forbes best-in-state rankings.
"We are extremely humbled to be recognized by Forbes as one of the Best-In-State Credit Unions in California for the third year in a row. Our organization has worked hard over the past 70 years to establish trust and to make a positive impact in the local communities through financial education and financial advocacy," said Kevin Miller, President and CEO of Travis Credit Union. "As we work hard to earn this recognition that speaks to TCU's stability and success, we look forward to serving our members and building their financial wellness.”
