Preparing our youth for the financial responsibilities that they’ll assume as adults starts at an early age. At TCU, we offer a variety of products, programs and resources that are available to help youth and young adults become better at managing their money. Explore our programs designed to support your financial journey!

Building Real-World Financial Confidence

Generation Wealth offers an immersive experience designed to give teens and young adults a comprehensive financial reality check. In our workshop, participants are assigned an occupation, salary, student loan debt, and credit score. They’ll navigate through the simulation making budget decisions about wants, needs, and responsibilities, learning valuable financial tips along the way.

“All of the school staff involved with Generation Wealth were very happy with the program and are excited to have TCU back next semester. Teachers said it fit well into the seniors’ econ curriculum and were impressed with how engaged students were — many were still discussing the presentation the next day. Several students told me they felt more excited and confident about their financial futures because of the tools and knowledge they gained.”

“I think the Generation Wealth Program is awesome. The activity helps the students apply all that is learned in the informational presentation, and your enthusiasm while presenting keeps the students hooked! I think this program is much needed as it teaches them financial literacy and puts real life into perspective. So many students want the cars and the houses, but don't realize all of the financial literacy skills that it takes to actually manage such things. Generation Wealth workshop is amazing!”
