Do you receive federal benefits?

Switch to Direct Deposit before March's deadline
If you receive federal benefits through a mailed paper check, you'll need to enroll in Direct Deposit by next March. That's when the U.S. Department of Treasury will begin paying all federal benefits electronically.

Act now and add direct deposit at no cost to your Travis Credit Union checking account. Avoid the hassle and potential fees of a government-issued debit card from a big bank once your Social Security, Veterans Affairs and other federal paper checks end on March 1, 2013.

At Travis Credit Union, we make it easy for you to switch and enroll in direct deposit, which is a free service. You'll enjoy the convenience of having immediate access to your funds and gain the peace of mind knowing your money is safe and secure using today's technology. Plus, you won't have to drive to a branch and wait for your deposit to post.

Simply call our member service center at (707) 449-4000 or (800) 877-8328. If you'd like to learn more about the federal government's switch to electronic deposits, you may visit Use the online enrollment button on the Web site to have your federal benefits automatically deposited into your TCU account.

Remember, the deadline to switch is March 1, 2013!
